The building was envisioned as a series of interconnected vertical spaces that allow for inter-firm office interaction. A terraced podium consisting of shifting programmed masses of commercial space transitions to the office tower above. A parametric louver facade system encloses the tower to allow for both protection from direct sun exposure and retain diffuse light and vistas.

Design documents produced depict the mixed-use nature of the building as an office possessing shared work spaces, exhibition areas, multi-purpose venues, and commercial units.

HIGH RISE OFFICE CONCEPT
Status: Concept Done
This project was executed as an early foray into the design of a collaborative vertical office high rise in one of the country's premier central business districts. This project, can be considered the prototype to The Maker Hub, incorporating similar high-rise and workspace design ideas. A commercial podium, massed in programmed terraces hosting cafes, retail stores, deck areas, leasable office spaces, and an auditorium tapers from the site perimeter into an office tower enshrouded with a system of facade louver panels. The upper offce tower was envisioned as a flexible, collaborative work community with shared nodes of activity - common spaces, resource libraries, break areas, meeting rooms, and multi-purpose exhibition rooms.
